Oral Pathology & Biopsy

Our doctors will perform a thorough clinical screening of the oral tissues for any abnormalities or lesions in the tissues. 

Inconsistencies in the color or texture of oral tissues can sometimes indicate pathology, or diseases of the mouth and the jaw.  Please mention any concerns you may have such as: 

• A sore that is not healing properly
• A lump on the inside of the cheeks, palate, gums or lips
• Areas of skin that appear discolored or feel like a different texture

Please do not ignore these warning signs as early diagnosis is the key to successful treatment. Treatment options will vary based on the patient's specific needs.
